A body was found in Brunswick Park in London.
The body of a missing nursing assistant has been found, according to the Czech foreign minister.
Petra Srncova, 32, was last seen leaving work at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital on Sunday 28 November around 19:45.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed a body had been found in Brunswick Park, Camberwell on Sunday morning.
Czech Foreign Minister Jakub Kulhanek said Police had informed the Czech Embassy that the body belonged to Ms. Srncova.
Police say Ms. Srncorva’s family has been informed and the formal identification process is ongoing.
In a statement, Met Police said; “Officers attended and found a woman who was deceased. Her death is being treated as unexplained but initial enquiries suggest the circumstances are not suspicious. A post-mortem examination will take place is due course.
“While formal identification awaits, Petra’s family have been informed of this development.”
The Evelina hospital added; “This is extremely sad and worrying news regarding the disappearance of our colleague.
“Our thoughts are with Petra’s family, friends and colleagues at this hugely difficult time. Thank you to everyone who has helped to share the appeal to find Petra.”
Earlier this month a man was arrested and later bailed in relation to her then disappearance.
